Watercolor Succulent Art

Monday, mondaaaayyyy. Mondays aren’t my favorite (usually because I’m so busy!) but what I do love is doing new projects with my Curio! I’ve been having so much fun with this new machine from Silhouette. One of my absolute favorite things about it is the Debossing feature, which creates an indented relief into paper, vellum and more. And what do you know, it makes the perfect outline for painting with watercolors! If you aren’t confident in free handing watercolors, debossing an outline first is the perfect solution – it almost makes it a paint-by-numbers!

I made some pretty watercolor succulent art and framed it to go in my office. It was easy to do and actually super fun and cathartic! Painting is such a peaceful and restorative activity ๐Ÿ™‚ Check out the full tutorial post by clicking HEREย and going to the Silhouette America blog!

Have you tried watercolors? If so, do you like them?
