One of the big projects left on our home renovation list is the master bathroom. Our current bathroom is… yeesh. Picture this: yellow and cream striped wallpaper. Glossy yellowy pine cabinets. Half-painted gilded mirror frames. White stained laminate counters. Half-finished backsplash with gaps. Plastic sheeting in place of tile in the shower. Broken jetted tub. Loose/improperly installed shower fixtures. Chippy beadboard.
Can you picture it yet?
To put it simply, it’s a mismatched mess. Blech. So I’ve been dreaming about making it over into something fresh and clean and beautiful and pretty. And where does one go to dream about gorgeous and fresh bathrooms? Pinterest, duh. 😉 So I’ve gathered some pretty inspiration pics to oogle and daydream about.
(As always, if you love the inspiration or want more info about the projects, be sure to view/pin from the original source!)
I’m loving everything here! Black door, gold fixtures, and THAT FLOOR.
Old-fashioned tubs are awesome, and that black ceiling is intriguing!
Pop of pink flowers, fun graphic print, and adorable makeup brush holders!
Can someone be in love with a tub?? Love the pop of green!
Floor to ceiling subway tile is dreamy and the vintage wood floor is yum.
Awesome stool, more swoon-worthy floor tiles, and relaxing gray paint.
Stunning windowpane shower, hex tiles, rustic vanity and amazing mirror? Check.
Luxe hex floor tiles, light and bright, and modern touches.
Rustic wood towel ladder and vintage mirror?? Yes please!
Captain’s mirror – awesome. Towel holder on the sink? Double awesome.
See the vibe I’m going for? Le sigh. Dreamy white subway tiles, beautiful gold fixtures, amazing black and white moroccan floor tiles, and vintage neutral touches. AH-mazing. Yes. Does want.
